Old Testament

Psalms 88

Lord, You are my God who saves me. I pray to You every day and every night and ask You for help.

Please listen to my prayer, and please hear when I beg You,

I have a lot of trouble. I am discouraged and it feels like I am going to die.

People already treat me like a dead man. I have no strength left

Look for me among the dead, like a body in the grave. I am one of those you have forgotten, cut off from you and your care.

It feels like You have thrown me in that hole in the ground, into the deep dark place.

God are angry with me and I am discouraged. It feels like big waves are coming over me. Paulse and Think

You made my friends leave me. They all avoid me like someone no one wants to touch. Like a prisoner in my house, I cannot go out.

My eyes can not see because I suffer so much. I pray to you everyday! I lift my arms in prayer to you.

Do you do miracles for the dead? The dead do doesn’t get up to praise You. Paulse and Think

The dead don’t talk about your love in the grave, and no one talks about your faithfulness in the place of destruction?

The dead don’t know about your miracles in the dark place, and no one talks about your righteousness in the place where no one can remember anything.

Lord, I am asking you to help me! Early each morning I pray to you.

Lord, why are You pushing me away Why do you refuse to listen to me?

I have been weak and close to death from the time I was young. You made me suffer a lot, and I do not know what to do.

You are angry with me and your punishment destroys me.

It feels like a water flood is around me all day long. My troubles come from all sides.

You made my friends and the people I love leave me alone, Now darkness is my closest friend.
