Psalms 96

1Sing to the Lord a new song. Everyone on earth sing to the Lord.

2Sing to the Lord and praise his name. Tell the good news every day about how he saves us!

4The Lord is great and worthy of praise. We must reverence The Lord and not other gods that are idols.

5All the gods in other nations are nothing but statues, but the Lord made the heaven

6Give honor and praise to the LORD, whose power and beauty fill his holy temple

7Praise the Lord, all nations on earth. Praise the glory and the power of the King.

8Praise the glory of the name of the Lord. Come into his temple and courtyards and bring an offering to Him

9Worship the Lord in all his holy beauty. Everyone on earth should tremble before him.

10Tell all the nations: The Lord is King, and The Lord rules. The world stands firm and cannot be moved. The Lord will be fair when He judges everyone on earth.

11Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be happy! Let the sea and everything in it shout for joy!

12Let the fields and everything in them be happy! Let the trees in the forest sing for joy
