Psalms 85

1Lord, You were good to your land. You blessed the famlies of Jacob and brought them back again.

2Lord, You forgave the sins that your people had done. Lord, You have covered all their sins. Paulse and Think

3Lord, You were not angry with your people, and Lord, You did not want to punish your people anymore.

4O God, You are our Saviour. Please be good to us again and don’t be angry with us.

5Lord, Are you always going to stay angry with us? Lord, Will you be angry with our children and to their children?

6Lord, Please give us new life so that your people can rejoice because we belong to You.

7Lord, please show us your mercy that never changes and save us again.

8I will listen to what the Lord God says because the Lord said there would be peace for his people and his followers. They must not go back to their foolish way of living.

9This is true, God will come quickly to save the people who fear God and the people in the land will see God’s glory.

10God’s mercy and truth meet together; Righteousness and peace kiss each other.

11People on earth will be loyal to God, and God in heaven will be good to them.

12Yes, the Lord will be good to his people and there will be a lot of fruit and food in the land.

13The people will see the righteousness of the Lord and the Lord will prepare the way for him.
