Psalms 13

1How long will you forget me, LORD? Forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

2How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and have sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death,

4Or my enemy will say: I have defeated him, and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5But I have trusted in your unfailing love; my heart will rejoice in your salvation.

6I will sing to the LORD, because the LORD has been good to me.
