1 Chronicles 3

1These were the sons born to David in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second, Daniel, by Abigail of Carmel;

2The third, Absalom, whose mother was Maakah, daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith;

3The fifth, Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.

4These six were born to him in Hebron, where David ruled for seven years and six months. He ruled in Jerusalem for thirty-three years.

5These were the sons born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon — four of them by Bathsheba, daughter of Ammiel.

6There were also Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet — nine in all.

9These were all the sons of David, not counting the sons of his concubines, and their sister Tamar.

10Solomon's son was Rehoboam; his son was Abijah; his son was Asa; his son was Jehoshaphat;

11His son was Joram; his son was Ahaziah; his son was Joash;

12His son was Amaziah; his son was Azariah; his son was Jotham;

13His son was Ahaz; his son was Hezekiah; his son was Manasseh;

14His son was Amon; his son was Josiah.

15The sons of Josiah were: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, and the fourth Shallum.

16The successors of Jehoiakim were: his son Jeconiah, and his son Zedekiah.

17The sons of Jeconiah, who was taken captive, were: Shealtiel,

18Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19The sons of Pedaiah were: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel were: Meshullam and Hananiah, and their sister Shelomith.

20There were also Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed — five in all.

21The sons of Hananiah were: Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. The descendants continued through Rephaiah, Arnan, Obadiah, and Shekaniah.

22The son of Shekaniah was: Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah were: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat — six in all.

23The sons of Neariah were: Elioenai, Hezekiah, and Azrikam — three in all.

24The sons of Elioenai were: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani — seven in all.
